Heat Shabu Baru

Did you know that last year we came in as the 2nd runner-up? What an honor! Since then, we’ve really upped our game, improved our business, scrubbed our bathrooms, and kissed each Kobe beef slab goodnight before tucking them away into the freezer… okay, not really, but we give ’em a fist bump sometimes.

The last day to vote this year isn’t until May 3rd, but procrastination can lead to forgetting. Don’t you hate when that happens?? So go ahead and check that off your to-do list while it’s still fresh in that beautiful brain inside that sexy skull of yours.

Thanks for your amazing support!

Crossing our fingers,

Third Annual Holiday Drive for The Mustard Seed School!

HSB_MustardSeedDrive

Do you remember how this time of year made you feel as a child? For many of us, our memories are filled with the excitement of ripping open a mountain of presents beneath a sparkly tree. Still dressed in warm PJ’s, we beamed from ear-to-ear while enjoying our new toys or clothes. This time of year is truly magical, especially for the little ones.

Unfortunately, too many children struggle with homelessness and Christmas is just another seemingly empty day. Finding a decent meal to fill their hungry stomachs and dry shelter from the freezing cold is their reality.

Please join Heat Shabu Baru in creating special memories and experiences for homeless children by participating in our Third Annual Holiday for the Mustard Seed School. This private school for homeless children ages 3-15 years old provides important survival tools like education, food, clothing, immunizations, and counseling for the children and their parents.

LET’S DO THIS!:

• Bring in NEW & UNWRAPPED items (see lists below) for Mustard Seed the next time you visit Heat Shabu Baru now through 12/21/14.

• We will give YOU 10% off your bill as a thank you for your generous donation.

• Don’t have time to purchase items? No worries! When you warm your tummy at Heat Shabu Baru, know that your meal purchase is going toward warming the hearts of homeless children and their families. Heat Shabu Baru will donate 50% of our December earnings to Mustard Seed.

Remember, although these children are homeless, they are not hopeless. Let’s help pave their path to a better tomorrow by taking action today. We thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity!

– HEAT SHABU BARU
