This policy explains what HEATSHABU collects when you visit or buy from heatshabu.com, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do about it.
Who we are
HEATSHABU is an independent watch retailer at 2404 Cutty Sark Blvd, Rawlins, WY 82301, United States. For anything in this policy, write to support@heatshabu.com.
What we collect
When you place an order
- Your name, email address, delivery address and billing address.
- Your phone number, when you give one — carriers ask for it on delivery problems.
- What you bought, what you paid, and when.
We never see your full card number. Card details go straight to our payment provider and are processed on their systems. We receive only a confirmation that payment succeeded and the last few digits.
When you create an account
- Your email address and a password, stored encrypted.
- Your order history and any addresses you save.
When you simply browse
- Your IP address, browser type and the pages you view — standard server logs, used to keep the site working and to spot abuse.
- A cart cookie, so items you add survive a page reload.
- A wishlist cookie, stored in your own browser. It holds product IDs only, and we never read it on our server.
Why we collect it
- To fulfil your order — we cannot ship a watch without a delivery address.
- To support you afterwards — returns, warranty claims and questions about a delivery.
- To meet our legal obligations — tax and accounting records.
- To keep the site secure — detecting fraud and abuse.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Who we share it with
Only the parties that make an order possible:
- Our payment provider, to take payment.
- Our delivery carrier, to bring you the parcel — name, address and phone number only.
- Our hosting provider, which stores the site and its database.
- Tax and accounting authorities, where the law requires it.
Cookies
The site sets cookies that are necessary for it to work: a session cookie, a cart cookie, and a wishlist cookie. If you log in, a further cookie keeps you signed in. You can block or clear cookies in your browser, but the cart and checkout will stop working if you do.
How long we keep it
- Order records — kept as long as tax law requires, currently seven years.
- Account details — kept until you ask us to close the account.
- Server logs — a short rolling window, then overwritten.
Your rights
Whatever jurisdiction you are in, we will honour these:
- See what we hold. Ask and we will send you a copy.
- Correct it. Tell us what is wrong and we will fix it.
- Delete it. We will erase what we are not legally required to keep.
- Object. Tell us to stop using your data for a particular purpose.

Marketing email
We email you about an order because you placed it. We only add you to the newsletter if you ask to be added, and every newsletter has a one-click unsubscribe link.
Security
The whole site runs over HTTPS. Passwords are stored hashed. Access to order data is limited to the people who need it to run the shop. No system is perfect, and if a breach ever affects your data we will tell you.
Children
This shop is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
If we change it we will update this page. The version published here when you place an order is the one that applies to that order.
